Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026 · Effective across all Foxcolab Notes clients
1. Core Cryptographic Principle: Zero Knowledge
Foxcolab Notes is designed such that content visibility is strictly segregated from administrative visibility. All note bodies, titles, tags, checklist items, and file attachments are encrypted on your client hardware prior to network transit. Decryption keys are derived locally on your device from your master passphrase and are never transmitted to or held by Foxcolab servers.
2. Zero AI Model Training Guarantee
We do not index, parse, crawl, or feed customer note content into artificial intelligence models, machine learning systems, or automated content extractors. Because your notes are stored in our databases as encrypted binary blobs, our infrastructure is technologically incapable of reading your text.
3. Information We Collect
We only collect minimal account metadata necessary to maintain your subscription and routing:
- Account identifier (email address or username).
- Hashed cryptographic authentication credentials.
- Encrypted ciphertext blocks containing your notebook and document payloads.
- Billing records processed through secure PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways.
4. Data Sovereignty & Portability
You retain complete ownership of your intellectual property. You may export individual notes, folders, or your entire knowledge vault in open, universally readable standard formats (Markdown .md, styled PDF, HTML) at any time with a single click.
5. Third-Party Trackers
Foxcolab Notes does not use Google Analytics, advertising tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral analytics scripts. All telemetry is anonymized and strictly operational (e.g. crash reports and server health monitoring).
